Platform Guidelines

Everything you need to know about the PTG Client Portal — how it works, what to expect after registration, and how to manage your trade relationship with Pro Trade Gate.

1

How the Client Portal Works

The PTG Client Portal is a secure, private workspace for registered distributors. Once your registration is approved by the PTG team, you will receive an invitation link to set up your password and access your account.

Inside the portal you can view active deals assigned to your account, review and digitally sign or refuse trade quotes, track outstanding tasks set by the PTG team, and access shared files and documents uploaded for your account.

Dashboard

A summary of your active deals, latest quotes, outstanding tasks, and recent files.

Quotes

View all quotes issued to you. Sign or refuse quotes with a full audit trail.

Tasks

Track milestones and action items assigned to your account by the PTG team.

Files

Access documents shared with you by PTG, organized in folders by project.

2

What Distributors Can Expect

PTG works with a select number of regional distributors per product line. We do not operate as an open marketplace — all distributor relationships are reviewed and approved by the PTG team before access is granted.

Once active, you will receive trade quotes through the portal for products relevant to your market. You will have the opportunity to review quote terms and either sign to confirm the trade or refuse with a reason. All interactions are recorded and tracked.

All communications and documents are managed through the portal — no paper-based process.

Your account is managed by a PTG account handler who will be in contact throughout the trade lifecycle.

Product quality feedback may be requested via QR code — your input helps PTG improve sourcing.

Signed quotes are legally binding confirmations of intent. Review all terms carefully before signing.

Refused quotes require a reason to be logged. PTG may revise and reissue a quote based on your feedback.

3

Registration Process

Registration is a straightforward five-step process. The PTG team reviews all applications and will contact you within 3–5 business days of submission.

1

Submit Registration

Complete the online registration form with your company details, contact information, and trade license document. All fields marked required must be filled.

2

PTG Review

The PTG compliance team reviews your application and verifies the submitted documents. You will not be contacted during this step unless clarification is needed.

3

Approval Notification

If your application is approved, you will receive an email confirmation. If additional information is required, PTG will reach out directly.

4

Password Setup

You will receive a secure invitation link to set your portal password. This link is valid for 48 hours. Request a new one if it expires.

5

Portal Access

Once your password is set, you can log in to the portal at any time. Your account handler will be in touch to discuss next steps.

4

Document Requirements

PTG requires the following documents at registration. All documents are stored securely and used for compliance verification only. They are never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

Trade License

A valid trade license issued by the relevant authority in your country of registration. Must be current and not expired at the time of submission.

PDF PNG JPEG Max 5 MB

TRN / VAT ID (where applicable)

Your Tax Registration Number or VAT Identification Number, if your entity is VAT-registered. Required for entities registered in UAE or other VAT-applicable jurisdictions. Not mandatory for non-VAT-registered entities but must be declared.

Document security: All uploaded documents are stored on a private, access-controlled server. They are never stored in a publicly accessible location and cannot be accessed by anyone outside the PTG compliance team.

5

Quote Signing Process

Trade quotes are issued by the PTG team and delivered to your portal account. You are the only person with authority to sign or refuse a quote on your account. All actions are logged with a timestamp, IP address, and identity verification hash.

1

Quote Issued

PTG issues a trade quote linked to your account. You will see it in the Quotes section of your portal with status "Sent".

2

Review Terms

Read the full quote including product description, quantity, pricing, and trade terms. Contact your PTG account handler if anything requires clarification before signing.

3

Sign or Refuse

To accept, click "Sign Quote". Your digital signature is recorded immediately with a full audit trail. To decline, click "Refuse" and provide a brief reason — PTG may revise and reissue.

4

Quote Locked

Once signed or refused, the quote is locked and cannot be changed. A signed quote constitutes a confirmed trade commitment. A refused quote can be reissued by PTG with revised terms.

Important: Signing a quote is a legally binding confirmation of your intent to proceed with the trade. Do not sign a quote unless you have fully reviewed and agreed to all terms. PTG cannot reverse a signed quote.
